Patricia Bath was the first African American woman to receive a medical patent for an instrument that was designed for cataract treatment. Join us for an hour-long STEMinista workshop taking a closer look at the eye and its features and functions. Students will work in pairs to perform a cow eye dissection while under the direction of a trained MiSci staff member. We’ll compare the cow eye to human eyes as we take a closer look. Includes general museum admission.
