Teacher Professional Development: Citizen Science

The Michigan Science Center is excited to host a professional development opportunity for teachers to discuss Citizen Science opportunities for students through birding!

Who: All teachers, though please note that materials will be geared toward upper elementary and middle school students.

What: To learn the fundamentals of Citizen Science and explore school bird study programs. Join us for a night of fun, learning, inspiration, and networking!

When: Thursday, April 20, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Where: Michigan Science Center, 5020 John R. St., Detroit, MI 48202

Why: We want to provide you with resources to engage your students in meaningful, hands-on science projects this spring!

All educators who attend will receive a free window feeder, lesson plans to get started, and complimentary entry to our After Dark event following the session!
