Invent birthday fun at the Michigan Science Center. Just choose one of our party packages to create an event full of spontaneous combustion (a.k.a. laughter). We’ll set-up to two hours of reserved party space filled with experiments and birthday activities and help schedule more fun during your stay too. Best of all, a Mi-Sci host will lead the party.
Note: For the best possible experience for all our guests, helium balloons are not allowed in the building.

Make an animal craft. Play animal dress-up on Center Stage. Help run the Wags-n-Tails Vet Clinic and meet our resident pets. Add a young child IMAX® film for the ultimate Animal Mania experience.

Dress up like an astronomer, create a constellation make-n-take and more! This cosmic theme is perfect with our planetarium shows and space exhibits!

Add more fun with these activities (as time permits): Planetarium shows, IMAX® films, DTE Energy Sparks Theater demonstrations, Chrysler Science Stage shows and hundreds of hands-on exhibits. Extra $3 per person charge for IMAX® and planetarium. Visit the Chrysler IMAX Dome Theater page for available shows. Our party planners will create a schedule to help your guests make the best use of time outside of the reserved party space.
NOTABLES: Maximum of 30 guests. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance. Guests may not bring outside food items with the exception of cake to the Science Center. A $50 non-refundable party deposit is due at the time of sale.
