Paulette Epstein

Director of Science and Theaters, Staff Astronomer

Paulette Epstein serves as the Director of Theaters and Resident Astronomer for the Michigan Science Center (MiSci). In this role, she creates STEM-related programming, and manages and curates the Planetarium shows. Paulette is a space science expert and a spokesperson for MiSci. Paulette has a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she worked as a planetarium lecturer, observatory operator, and a physics and astronomy tutor. She also served as a STEM research assistant at Texas A&M University. Paulette has worked at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago and the Broward College Buehler Planetarium in Davie, Florida. Overall, she has spent over a decade communicating science concepts to the general public. Paulette is committed to developing programs that provide comprehensive and easily-digestible STEM-related content that is accessible to all education levels.
