Make an Educational Impact
STEM Field Trips
Help inspire future generations of scientists, doctors and engineers by becoming one of our Sponsors of STEM. The Sponsors of STEM program allows businesses, organizations, foundations and individuals to underwrite group visits for children visiting the Michigan Science Center.
Your investment of $500 will provide a quality group visit experience for up to 50 children, or up to 25 children for a $250 investment. You may designate your sponsorship to support a field trip for a particular school, scout troop, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA or other child centered organization. If you prefer, the
Science Center will allocate your gift to support other school groups and youth-serving organizations.
Summer and Spring Break Camps
When schools are on break, the Michigan Science Center is ready to educate and entertain with day-long and week-long camps. Camp content is designed according to age level to ensure a high quality experience. Donors can provide full or partial camperships to guarantee that all children can have a worthwhile camp experience.
Traveling and Permanent Exhibitions
Each year, the Science Center hosts traveling exhibitions that bring fresh ideas and exciting experiences for visitors of all ages. In accordance with our mission, these interactive displays let visitors explore and discover in-depth some of the most important issues and extraordinary advances in science today. By
