MiSci Temporarily Closed to Public
Dear MiSci members and guests,
Out of an abundance of caution during the ongoing and growing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have decided to close the museum TO THE PUBLIC, starting Friday March 13. We will continue to monitor the coronavirus situation closely, and as always, make decisions that put the safety and health of our guests, visitors and staff first.
As we progress forward, together as a community, MiSci reminds everyone to continue practicing everyday preventive actions to help avoid illness:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water, using CDC best practices. If soap and water is available, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Should there be any changes to our operations, updates will be shared on this page of our website and through our social media channels. We understand this is a difficult situation for all residents of Michigan. We truly appreciate your patience and loyalty to MiSci.
We recognize that schools and community groups with upcoming reservations may need to adjust their field trip plans – please know that we are waving rebooking fees so that trips may be rescheduled for later in the school year. Please reply to your confirmation email or send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org for help with rescheduling group visits.
Please continue to stay safe and mindful of the situation during this time. For the most updated information regarding how to prepare and take action for COVID-19, please refer to the CDC website.
