Detroit, December 2, 2024 – Comerica Bank, in partnership with the Michigan Science Center (Mi-Sci), will offer free admission to the museum on Saturday, Dec. 7, as Midtown celebrates its 50th annual Noel Night. Community members are encouraged to spend the day in downtown Detroit to enjoy the holiday festivities and experience the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) educational offerings of the Michigan Science Center, at no cost.
A Midtown tradition, Noel Night is a festive open house that provides the opportunity to celebrate diverse holiday traditions in Midtown Detroit and Cultural Center districts. The event offers live music performances, holiday shopping with local businesses, visits with Santa, food trucks, make-and-take activities for families and more.
Comerica volunteers will host two financial education sessions on Dec. 7 in the Toyota Engineering Theatre from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-2 p.m. to share banking best practices and tips and tricks for credit scores and reports. The sessions are open to all community members and will be joined by the Michigan Science Center’s STEMinista program, a group of middle school-aged girls, and the Explainers, a group of high school-aged rotational interns.

The Michigan Science Center is located at the corner of Warren Avenue and John R Street in Midtown Detroit and will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Those interested in visiting the Science Center for free on Saturday, Dec. 7, can reserve tickets here.
