Our scout workshops offer interactive and immersive activities that explore STEM concepts and are tailored to fit each age group while satisfying requirements for earning elective badges. Plus, every workshop includes time to explore MiSci’s 220+ exhibits and theaters to enhance your scouting experience.

Resuming Fall 2021: Host a Homeschool Workshop with us at the Michigan Science Center!
Do you have a unit or topic that you would like us to facilitate? We have several activities that can align with your child’s curriculum, including: Energy and Matter, Astronomy, Weather, Geology, Plant Biology, Cell Biology, DNA and Genetics, Dissections or if you have a topic that you would like to cover, we can design a workshop to meet your needs!
Summer Spark! Camps
Join us for a summer of discovery! We are so excited to offer an in-person camp experience for learners in grades 1-5 this summer. Each week will feature different activities designed around a central theme, with interactive activities designed to connect campers’ discoveries to current scientific research and progress. Space will be limited in order to ensure social distancing is maintained and to ensure campers get personalized attention.
