Britney Epps

Sr Software Engineer at Code for America

A sneaker-connoisseur who loves tech, Britney is currently a Senior software engineer, helping her community become a better place by building applications that make local governments better. In her role, she develops innovative architectural designs and technical solutions for the community to receive things like better healthcare and access to food. Britney has been thriving in the STEM industry for over 10 years, holding a B.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T University and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. Beyond advancing her coding skills, Britney is an entrepreneur and educator. When she isn’t partaking in new business ventures, she’s giving back to her community by teaching coding and design classes to Detroit’s youth, or showing people how to style their kicks.
