A 21+ Experience at the Michigan Science Center

Our newly revamped After Dark series is designed for adults looking to start the evening with something a little different — combining hands-on discovery, conversation, and a unique setting you won’t find anywhere else.
Join us for After Dark: Summer Games, where science, sports, and friendly competition collide.
- Experience a one-night-only show in the Penske Planetarium featuring the original Olympians in the night sky, created in partnership with the Hellenic Museum of Michigan
- Take on adult-sized games and challenges, including a 50-foot inflatable obstacle course, Warrior Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em and Hungry Hippo
- Celebrate Detroit sports with Detroit City FC, featuring giveaways, a raffle and photo ops with Friendly
- Hear from a special guest speaker — details coming soon!
Throughout the evening, compete virtually through sports and board games, test your brain with trivia, explore Mi-Sci at your own pace, and enjoy a cocktail from Byrdie Bar — included with your ticket.
Grab a bite from the National Coney Island food truck, featuring classic coneys and veggie hot dogs available for purchase.
