Free Spring STEMinista® Events at Mi-Sci!

Looking for a fresh way to keep curiosity alive this spring and summer? The Michigan Science Center (Mi-Sci) has you covered with three free STEMinista® Project events—each designed to ignite girls’ passion for science, technology, engineering, and math.

Join us for our next STEMinista® Project event on May 10, featuring a special guest speaker: Paulette Epstein, our resident astrophysicist and NASA Solar System Ambassador!

Hear her story, ask questions during a live Q&A, and dive into hands-on activities.

  • Who’s invited? Girls in grades 4–8 + one free adult guest
  • Where? Michigan Science Center, 5020 John R. St., Midtown Detroit
  • Cost? Absolutely FREE thanks to the Barton Malow Foundation, Consumers Energy Foundation, and the Zatkoff Family Legacy Fund
  • Tickets: Space is limited! Get your ticket onsite at the box office. Your event ticket also gives you free access to the museum for the day!
