Science of Music: A Classical Roots Adventure at the Michigan Science Center

This family-friendly event brings together music, science, and culture through hands-on discovery. Through interactive STEM activities and live musical moments, guests will explore the science of sound and music while celebrating the contributions of African American composers, musicians, and innovators to classical music. Designed for learners of all ages, this experience offers a welcoming, playful introduction to classical music—no prior experience required.
